Our Story
From Mechanical Engineering to General Contracting
Axelson Construction LLC is a newly formed company built on a decade of hands-on experience.
I'm Zach Axelson. For more than 10 years, I've used my mechanical engineering background — problem-solving, precise measurement, and a genuine respect for how things are built — on construction and renovation projects throughout the Kansas City area, working on friends', family's, and neighbors' homes on the side.
Axelson Construction LLC is the natural next step: taking that same standard of work and making it available to homeowners across Shawnee and the surrounding metro, full-time. I'm currently completing my contractor licensing through Johnson County, and every project I take on gets my full, personal attention from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
I keep my focus narrow on purpose — decks, patios, outdoor living spaces, and kitchen & bath remodeling — so I can do those things exceptionally well instead of spreading thin across everything.
